That’s right! I made yet another delicious Paleo meal with the help of Every Day Paleo! The Salmon Cakes with Homemade Ginger Mayo were AMAZING! I accompanied the salmon cakes with Roasted Butternut Squash.
I realize my post today is short and sweet (boring), so I thought to spice things up we could do a finish the sentence game:
1. If cavemen read this Paleo-ish Blog they would think, __________.
2. I am craving ___________.
3. If I could wear __________ every day, I would.
That looks on point. They're actually one of my favorite snacks/meals. Prior to paleo, I would use flower and veg oil instead. I think it more tasty the paleo way really.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious to see Drywall's take on the sentence game.
@Dayo - I found the coconut oil with the butternut squash to be delicious! The grapeseed oil was really $$ but totally worth it. I did go through the entire bottle for this recipe though.
ReplyDeleteI added the sentence game especially for Drywall...I am sure he won't disappoint!
Rae, I think we should start going to your place for dinner!
ReplyDeleteDayo, I haven't seen you in forever. Are you out of town?
1. huh?
2. chocolate chip cookie dough and mint chip ice cream
3. flip flops
1. "self-esteem sure has taken a dip in the last 100,000 years..."
ReplyDelete2. Banker's Club gin and Faygo tonic. It's the recession. Times are tough.
3. Board shorts and a white T shirt. Ok, I actually couldn't think of anything for this one, so I stole Doc's answer.
@Drywall
ReplyDeleteBut, they're so comfy and I don't have anything else that would make me look so elite.
Here's my take:
1. This is so easy even I could do it.
2. Sleep, or a daiquiri ice milk shake (curse you baskin robbins for discontinuing that flavor).
3. Rainbow suspenders.
i dont like 1 and 2...
ReplyDelete3. assless chaps and a pink thong.
I suppose I should fill in the blanks too...
ReplyDelete1. Try wearing the same cloth skirt every day and hunting your own food...
2. Gnocchi with Truffle Sauce or Deep Dish Pizza
3. A brand new pair of socks
Dr. Tom - you were supposed to write what you WOULD wear not what you do wear :-) It's so awkward when you do back extentions

Oh Rae, you saw Tom's ping thong peaking out from the top of his shorts too? I would have never guessed.... ;)
ReplyDeleteYatta, I have some friends going to Wrigley and I don't want to do that. A few others want to stay in the Bucktown area and I am all for that. I wouldn't mind skipping the WOD and doing brunch too if anyone is up for that. :)
@Camey, been down in Antigua for the past few months. Should be back next week, not looking forward to ice cold weather though.
ReplyDeleteladies,
ReplyDeletefirst, very humorous.
