What do you do when cravings hit?

I have a huge sweet-tooth! I am all about anything chocolate. I can usually resist the temptation by eating really bitter dark chocolate. But recently, I just cave. I don't have the will power. For instance, after lunch I decided I wanted a chocolate concrete shake w/ chocolate chips and cookie dough. I wasn't even hungry at that point so why did I feel like I had to have it? I think maybe I am have a chocolate habit. I just eat it every day without really thinking about it. Does anyone else have a similar problem with foods they can't seem to resist? How do you overcome the temptation in the moment to pig out on that food?

John A asked me to post today since he is West Palm Beach getting his level 1 CF Cert this weekend.

Have fun John! I am sure we will be taking your classes soon!

  1. I do this all the time. But I don't call it a "problem."

  2. Every now and then I'll eat a Jell-o chocolate pudding, the sugar free ones. I usually try to hold out on stuff until my cheat though.

I may keep posting until I have a lot of comments. Apparently my post is boring since Drywall is the only one that commented.

Drywall, your blog today is hilarious. Although, I do not really want to see people doing all the stuff we do naked. I'll pass. Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode. There are just some things you shouldn't do naked.

Jacques, not sure what happened today with your post. If you are still interested in posting, you can have Tuesday. :)

  4. Those faux-nude pics are fucking stupid. If I could have a do-over, I would have called the first two girls butterface #1 and butterface #2. Alas, didn't think of that in time.

  6. NOT BORING - made my mouth WATER! Even though that piece of cake would literally put me in the hospital - lol!

I am not one of those people who say "I don't care for dessert or candy"...although I slightly admire them, I guess. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Candy! I actually like to go to the movies JUST so I can eat candy...in the dark...:-) I can also tell you that my absolute favorite dessert of ALL-TIME, is served at Joe's Stone Crab and it's called the Havana Dream Pie...oh what I wouldn't do to have a slice mmmmmm

After every dinner Monday-Sunday, my meal is not complete unless I end it with something sweet! Like Dayo, a Vanilla J-ELLO does the trick, or berries and AB, a very sweet fruit, something!
