*sorry for the tardy post
Alright y'all - my post may be kinda lame - sorry about that.
ReplyDeleteI am headed away for the weekend & want to be honest:
There will be wine consumption
However I plan to counter it with long hikes and a couple long runs :) Part of the rules of my weekend getaway are disconnecting from bberries, internet, etc. so no posts from me. Have a great weekend!!
Have an awesome weekend Rae! I'm jealous! We need to get this weekend cabin trip planned ASAP por favor! lol
ReplyDeleteYour post isn't lame Rae, I guarantee you everyone has these ;).
ReplyDeleteFor me the positives are much like yours. I have so much energy I piss my friends off constantly and I don't get headaches or get sick either. The negatives for me? Pretty much no drinking like a mad-man and dealing with my friends who go out almost nightly... not that either of those sound like too much fun from a distance, but working from home makes me feel cooped up and I always want to get out and do something after the days over. Just being at the box for an hour or so usually doesn't cut it :(
Here's my log soooo far today:

ReplyDeleteFavorites:
ReplyDelete- Increase in energy
- Easy meals
- Reality check of how gross everyone else around me eats now
Least:
- Getting over the fact that eating a burger or a deli sandwich with no bread is POINTLESS.
- Getting a major hangover from on only a few drinks.
- Realizing that Paleo pizza just is not a good substitute for a deep-dish pizza, its just not.
Today I actually had a burger for the first time since starting, no bun of course, and it was good! So its not as pointless anymore lol.
Favorites:
ReplyDelete1) Number 1 of course is getting fine-er
2) Of course....fitting in this single digit pencil skirt....I'm trying to be one hot lawyer! lol.
3) Having crazy energy without coffee and tea constantly.
4) Not being sick all of the time.
5) Sleeping like a wee baby.
6) Being more regular...sorry boys....girls do poo. lol.
7) Much simpler grocery list!
Least Faves
1)Time consumed preparing weekly meals and planning.
2)Constantly explaining to people why I can't eat or drink something and feeling like a freak because of they way they are looking at me:(
3) Not eating fried chicken, pizza, sandwiches, french fries, nachos, tacos, ice-cream, and burgers....just to start with.
4) Not being able to partake in my favorite beverages....I have not been sober for this long in quite some time.
5) My body's reaction (i.e. Halloween Binge Weekend) when I do eat something that is not Paleo. I literally feel like a turd the next day and all of my newfound energy is sapped:(
